Paolo Astori has been active within the aerospace industry since 1942 producing self-locking and anchor nuts. The company remains family owned and completely independent allowing it to focus on its core business of providing knowledgeable advice to its customers and manufacture of the highest quality fastening solutions according to US and European standards & OEM proprietary drawings.


Today, Paolo Astori is ISO 9001, AS 9100 & NADCAP certified and has gained approval from the many of the world’s leading Original Equipment Manufacturers including in Europe: Agusta Westland, Airbus, Alenia, BAE Systems, Dassault, EADS, Eurocopter, Safran, and in the USA: Bell Helicopter, Boeing Philadelphia, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream Aerospace Corp, Lockheed Martin ( Marietta) & Spirit Aerosystems.


As a sign of our commitment to being able to better support our customers in North America, Paolo Astori is now a member of the Qualified Suppliers List for Manufacturers (QSLM) for Class 3 Threaded Fasteners.

Continuous investment into new equipment, technologies and processes (over 8 million USD invested in 2009) combined with this vast experience allows Paolo Astori to meet and exceed the most exacting aerospace standards and expectations of our customers.


The systems and procedures that have been established allow for complete visibility and traceability from the initial purchase of the raw material through to final testing and despatch. Along with the Certificate of Conformance, FAI packs and Qualification Test packs are also made readily available to provide maximum clarity and visibility for our customers.


At Paolo Astori, the entire manufacturing process is carried out “in house” without the need to subcontract any element of production. This allows for:
